Woman injured in car crash in Poland seeks compensation
A woman in Yorkshire has launched a claim for more than £300,000 in road traffic accident compensation after she was injured in a car crash in Poland.
The woman was travelling as a back-seat passenger in a Fiat Punto when it was involved in a collision with a BMW vehicle, in February 2010.
It has been reported that the Fiat she had been in turned into the path of the BMW, causing a serious car crash. The driver of the Fiat was arrested for offences in relation to the accident and has been served a suspended jail sentence.
As a result of the crash the woman suffered severe personal injuries in the collision, including several broken bones, a fractured neck, and brain injury.
Now, two years on, she is still recovering from the injuries sustained in the crash and is seeking more than £300,000 in road traffic accident compensation. A hearing is due to take place in due course.
