Whiplash suffered in three car motorway crash
After a severe three-car motorway pile up near the Rownhams Services, which left one man with whiplash, police are trying to find the motorist who may be liable for the crash.
The incident occurred on the M27, westbound, near and the police said of the mystery driver, "It is imperative that we trace them as they should be able to provide a detailed account of exactly what led to these vehicles colliding with each other."
It is thought that the motorist, who drove away before police officers had a chance to speak to them, may be able to explain what caused the crash. An investigation of the road accident scene was undertaken but the driver of the black Audi believed to be involved, is being described as a "key witness" into the events which led to the accident.
One man was hurt in the collision, suffering whiplash, but all the other individuals involved were not harmed in the incident.
If someone is eventually found liable for the accident, then the 33-year-old man, who suffered the whiplash injury, may be able to claim compensation from the responsible party for his pain suffering and loss of earnings.
