Whiplash injury has forced rapper Del Tha Funkee Homosapien to cancel a concert in Colorado.
The California-based rapper had been driving between Colorado and Denver Springs when his vehicle was rear-ended by a drunk driver.
Delvon Jones is the cousin of internationally renowned rapper Ice Cube and worked with Blur frontman Damon Albarn on the first Gorrilaz album. He was a sleeping backseat passenger at the time of the car crash.
It is not known whether the hip-hop star, whose real name is Teron Delvon Jones, will be making a no win, no fee compensation claim for his whiplash injury.
Reports indicate that Homosapien's male companion also suffered whiplash injury in the incident.
