A Lancashire farm worker said that he was "lucky in misfortune" after escaping from a road accident involving a HGV with minor whiplash.
The man had been travelling from Bradford to Keighley when his car his hit from behind by a 14 tonne truck. His vehicle was written-off in the incident and he described it as a "miracle" that he did not suffer more serious injury.
"My car was thrown into a tree and concertinaed, but somehow the driver-side remained intact. Having felt the impact, I'm amazed I'm here today, to be honest. I must have a guardian angel," he said.
There were no indications that either driver did anything illegal and, at this stage, there are no reports of a whiplashcompensation claim being made.
