Police seek witnesses to four way road traffic accident
A Spalding road traffic accident last weekend involving four vehicles was serious enough that the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance had to be called to the scene. Police are asking for witnesses to the A1073 crash, at 4pm on Sunday 11 May.
A Triumph motorcycle rider and his passenger were seriously injured, and airlifted to hospital. Road ambulances and paramedics also attended the scene, taking some car crash victims to hospital for treatment to their personal injury, and helping others to the side of the road while fire and rescue teams investigated the scene, and moved accident debris to the roadside.
The road was closed for more than two hours by the investigations into the road traffic accident's aftermath.
