Hospital star Anderson reveals car crash injury

Natalie Anderson, newcomer popstar and lead actress in television hospital drama The Royal has said that the filming of an accident in the series was very nearly derailed by a real-life car accident.

"I had just had someone go into the back of my car so had whiplash and had hurt my shoulder. We had to make it that my shoulder and my arm were the parts of me that were damaged," the popular actress told a London newspaper.

"There's scenes where she's crying and I'm actually crying because I was in so much pain."

It is unknown whether the actress, who has previously appeared in Holby City, Wire in the Blood, and Dalziel and Pascoe, plans to make a compensation claim for her whiplash.
