Boy cyclist suffers injuries, police call for witnesses
An 11-year-old boy had to be taken to Kettering General Hospital with serious injuries to his lower leg after his bicycle collided with a van at Greenfield Way on Friday; police are calling for any witnesses to the road accident to step forward.
It is understood that anyone with information about the lead-up to the road accident may be able to help assist the police in establishing just what happened. Information may also be of use in the event that any of those affected decide to make a personal injury compensation claim.
Newspapers report that the man driving the white Ford Escort van which collided with the boy and his bicycle is uninjured.
