The road accident compensation battle of one 29-year-old woman from Edinburgh, Scotland, has finally reached a victorious conclusion.
Her road accident compensation payout related to an incident which occurred in August of 2003. She broke her ankle and cut her head after falling down a hole in the road.
In a traumatic complication for the woman, she was nine months pregnant at the time. Fortunately, despite the worrying fall, her baby was unharmed.
In a post accident claim interview, she said, "My main concern was my bump. When I got to the hospital they checked the baby and it was fine. It was such a relief."
It was after her first bid for road accident compensation was rejected that she decided to employ a no win, no fee solicitor, who, in a judgement at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, successfully secured her 100% compensation.
