The car accident took place when the man was on a zebra crossing on Churchill Road, in Wisbech, when he was run over and then dragged along the street by a lorry.
The lorry was driven by an employee of a Worcester haulage company which is currently being sued for £300,000 in relation to the case.
The victim was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious personal injuries, including crush injuries to his chest, an injury to his left arm, broken ribs and a serious head injury.
The brain injury suffered in the accident means that he will be limited in the job market and is also at a higher risk of developing potential epilepsy.
