Possible compensation claim for youth trapped between cars in accident

A teenager may be entitled to make a compensation claim, with a responsible adult acting on his behalf, after sustaining hip, facial, and pelvis injuries in a road accident.

He was crushed in between two vehicles when an elderly male motorist collided with a white van in Merseyside.

Witnesses were shocked to see the pensioner crash his orange Peugeot into a van on a side street, causing it to shunt into another parked van and trapping the unfortunate 16-year-old in between the two vehicles.

Luckily, a rapid response team quickly arrived on the scene to transport the youth to Aintree Hospital. Fire fighters were required to cut the pensioner from his car before he was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

A second pedestrian may be entitled to make a personal injury claim as well, since he was also on the pavement between the two vehicles when the accident took place and needed medical treatment, although for less severe injuries.

A witness who lives nearby said it looked as if the elderly driver had suffered a heart attack whilst behind the wheel.

It was reported that all three men were fully conscious when they were brought in and none appeared to have any life-threatening injuries.
