Peterborough woman survives car roll with only whiplash
A Peterborough girl who rolled her Peugeot over at the start of the Easter weekend escaped the car accident with only bruising and whiplash injury.
The teenager was driving through the city centre when the accident occurred, and passing motorists stopped to assist her. One called the girl's parents to update them, and her father has since been in touch with all those who stopped to thank them.
The woman was taken to Peterborough General Hospital for tests to determine the extent of her personal injury, and was released an hour later after a diagnosis of whiplash.
Her father said, "The emergency services did a fantastic job as well, and I really want to thank everyone who helped.
"She just suffered some bruising from her seatbelts, and a few aches and pains elsewhere.
"She has been laughing and joking about it since."
