Accident claims could be made for shop window crash

A number of pedestrians could have been making car accident claims after a pensioner crashed her Vauxhall Astra through a shop window.

Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused to the shop in Bristol but fortunately nobody suffered serious personal injuries in the vehicle accident.

A shop worker commented on the car crash and said, "I'm not sure what happened. I was standing by the centre by the counter serving a customer and this car just came through the window. It happened in a few seconds."

A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue said, "We called just after 3.15pm and an elderly female was already out of the car when we arrived.

"She had gone through the window. We helped pull it back out. It was quite a mess."

In the future, the owners of the shop may consider making a car accident claim to pay for the shop window repairs.
