Star avoids car accident claim

Peaches Geldof narrowly avoided having to make a car accident claim after she was involved in a car crash in California recently.

The star and her friends were on the way to Disney World in California when the driver's foot slipped on the pedal sending the car spinning 360 degrees across three lanes of traffic.

Just moments before the traffic collision, the star had left a message on her twitter account saying, "Speeding like I have never, ever witnessed before on the freeway."

Just after the crash, the star posted another message saying, "Just actually experienced a full on car crash (sic)."

While Peaches and her friends all managed to escape injury, pictures of the crashed car were later posted on her friend's account and showed how lucky the car's occupants were to all avoid serious injury.

Had Peaches been less fortunate, a car accident claim may have been the least of her worries.
