Reading pile-ups cause traffic misery

Multiple car crash claims could be made after two four-car pile-ups just outside Reading in one morning.

Four vehicles were involved in a collision that left the road blocked near the junction with Palmer's Lane in Grazeley. Paramedics were called to the scene but no one was believed to be seriously hurt in the accident.

Another four-car crash blocked the A329 Reading Road in Wokingham both ways leading to major delays on roads east of Reading. Fire engines were called and fire-fighters had to cut a driver free from the wreckage.

Two drivers from the accident were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to both car accidents to help them with their investigations.

Multiple car crash claims are likely to be made for the two incidents.
