A 22-year-old man from North Wales has secured an out-of-court compensation settlement for motorbike injuries sustained in a collision with a Toyota van.
The technical drawing student sustained multiple motorbike injuries, including broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder in the crash, which left him with no choice but to defer his studies.
The claimant's accident claim solicitor warned that his client's injuries could have been much worse. He said that he had only recently taken on the case of another man who is now paralysed from the waist down after being hit in similar circumstances.
"Driving with due care and attention... can kill a motorcyclist in an instant," he said.
Despite being forced to defer his studies because of his motorbike injuries, the 22-year-old has now returned to his studies as well as a part-time job with engineering firm.
