Elvis impersonator all shook up after car accident
One of Britain's leading Elvis impersonators is looking forward to getting back on stage after suffering extensive whiplash injuries whilst returning from a gig.
The 42-year-old was involved in a car accident which saw him collide with another vehicle at 70mph and paramedics initially feared he had suffered a broken neck. He was rushed to hospital but X-rays and scans revealed that he had sustained serious whiplash instead.
The Lancashire-born man - who has been impersonating The King for 20 years - has played to packed-out venues across the globe and has even had the honour of performing for the Queen.
A spokesman from his management company said, "We are confident that [his] resolve will see him through this accident and hopefully be back on stage before his fans in the near future - hopefully as soon as the doctors allow him to."
