Elderly couple injured in car accident

Multiple car crash claims may be made after an elderly couple were injured in a car accident in Lincolnshire on September 5.

The crash occurred on the A52 main road in Friskney around 3.40pm after a grey Suzuki collided with a green Ford Focus.

Both the driver of the Ford Focus, aged 80, and his wife, were taken to Pilgrim Hospital with serious injuries.

The Suzuki driver was also badly injured in the crash and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The road where the incident happened was closed for more than four hours while the police investigated the cause of the crash and cleared the area of the damaged cars and debris.

Lincolnshire Police are calling for any witnesses to the car accident to call them on their witness hotline number on 01522 558855.

It is not known at this stage whether any car crash claims are likely to be made.
