A motorist may be entitled to car accident compensation after a collision with an articulated lorry in Peterborough.
He suffered back and neck pain but was lucky not to be left with more serious injury after a crash with a Leyland DAF lorry, a much larger vehicle than his Toyota car. The man was treated at Peterborough City Hospital.
The car crash was reported to the emergency services which sent a rapid response paramedic team with an ambulance. The site of the road traffic accident was on an eastbound slip road between Frank Perkins Parkway and Boongate.
Luckily, when the emergency services arrived the driver of the Toyota was said to be "conscious and breathing" reported a spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service. Doctors at the Peterborough hospital later described his condition as not life threatening.
The back and neck pain endured as a result of this incident means that this driver could be entitled to car accident compensation as a result of the collision if the HGV driver is found liable for causing the vehicle crash..
