A five-year-old boy will no doubt have sparked a series of compensation claims after joyriding his father's 4x4 across a busy dual carriageway in West Sussex.
The extremely young driver managed to find the car keys to his parents' Mitsubishi Shogun and take it out of their drive and four miles along roads towards Lavant outside of Chichester in West Sussex.
Motorists called 999 after seeing the car crawling along the dual carriageway at 10mph with only the top of the driver's head visible.
Although the boy managed to avoid a serious car accident, he did hit a couple of parked cars and was brought to a halt when he crashed the car into a brick wall.
Thankfully no one was hurt during the course of his adventures and other than a questioning from local police, no action was taken against him.
Owners of the parked cars the boy hit may, however, make compensation claims for the damage to their vehicles.
