Whiplash injury claim news

Cheryl Cole could make a claim against Will.i.am

If she so wished, singer and TV personality, Cheryl Cole would almost certainly be able to make a claim for whiplash compensation from Will.i.am, following a car accident which happened in Los Angeles recently.

The pair, who were travelling in the Black Eyed Peas singer's Cadillac, were on their way back from a recording studio when Will.i.am lost concentration and hit a parked car.

The pair suffered minor injuries including whiplash. Ms Cole was treated at the scene, while Will.i.am was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital where he was treated for personal injuries which occurred when his driver's airbag inflated.

The pair have been open about the circumstances of the car accident and Ms Cole has been photographed wearing a sling, however, no mention has been made as to whether the former Girls Aloud band member will be making a claim for whiplash compensation.

A source close to the singer told The Sun newspaper, "It looked worse than it was.

"Of course, Cheryl was really shaken up…but she's gearing up for a full day of promotion, she's fine."
