Car crash claim news

Four-vehicle pile-up on A43 leaves one motorist dead

A car crash claim may be made after a four-vehicle collision took place on the A43 on the outside of Northampton.

A VW Passat and a Ford Transit van, both travelling towards Northampton, were described as being involved in a minor collision which led to a Nissan Vanette travelling behind the two cars, to crash into a Ford Transit van.

The impact from this crash sent the Nissan spiralling onto the opposite side of the carriageway and into the path of a Scania Tipper.

The Nissan driver, a 33-year-old man from Leicester, was air-lifted to Walsgrave hospital in Coventry where he later died.

No one else was seriously injured in the collision. It has not yet been reported whether any of the injured party are likely to make a compensation claim for the damages or the personal injuries they suffered.
