Car crash at car cruise causes personal injury to eight.
Following an accident when a 'car cruise' turned into a 'car crash', eight people were hurt in Nuneaton this weekend.
The motoring event saw a large collision involving a motorcycle, two other vehicles, and pedestrians. Personal injury suffered as a result of this car accident included a fractured pelvis, whiplash injury, facial wounds and broken limbs, among others.
Two passengers were trapped in a Ford Fiesta, but were rescued by emergency services.
An ambulance spokesperson said "This was a very complex incident made all the more difficult by the sheer number of people at the scene.
"Ambulance and fire crews worked together really hard to ensure everyone that had been hurt was able to receive medical treatment as fast as possible."
No comment was made regarding compensation claims resulting from the Nuneaton event at which the car crash occurred, which had drawn more than 2000 people.
