An 18-year-old woman may make a car accident compensation claim after the car she was a passenger in crashed into a tree.
The driver of the car, a 26-year-old man from the Framlingham area, has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, driving without insurance and dangerous driving after the crash on Sunday (24th January).
The injured teenager was transferred to Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge where she was described by police as being in a "critical but stable" condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the car crash which happened in Dog Lane, Bedfield while the car was travelling between Framlingham and Bedfield.

Where this person is untraceable or uninsured, or where there is a dispute over liability, a replacement vehicle cannot
be provided.
