A friend of Prince Harry's is making a car accident compensation claim against their polo teammate for £300,000 after a car crash he says set back his playing career.
Son of rock drummer Kenney Jones, Jay Jones shattered his thigh when his friend from Hurtwood Park Polo Club, Ewhurst, Surrey, lost control of the car in which Jones was passenger and hit a tree.
Jay, now 21, needed a rod in his leg and believes the car crash could have ended his international polo career.
The injured polo player claims his friend was negligent in failing to notice a bend which resulted in the car crash.
The pair will now appear in court to decide if Jones will be awarded the car accident compensation which he is seeking.
