Freeman to be sued for car accident compensation

The female passenger in Morgan Freeman's car at the time of his crash in August of last year is suing for car accident compensation, according to the BBC.

The legal case has been filed in Mississippi and accuses the actor of negligence at the wheel of his vehicle.

The woman told journalists, "I sustained numerous injuries. I was unconscious following the accident. I could not take care of myself for several months.

"I have not been able to go back to work and still am suffering both physically and emotionally as a result of the accident."

She accuses Mr. Freeman of failing to keep the car under control on the evening of the accident having not given his full attention to the task of driving.

The car accident compensation she is seeking would cover medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost income, permanent disability caused by personal injury and property damage. However, the sum of the claim has not been revealed.
