Couple killed in lorry crash
Relatives of a couple killed in a road accident may claim for car accident compensation if the other driver involved in the incident is found to have been at fault.
The middle-aged couple were both killed when the Vauxhall Corsa they were driving in collided with a lorry on the A361, in South Molton, north Devon.
The accident was one of a series of accidents suffered in wintry conditions and, although many roads are suffering from an icy covering, it is unknown if this was the cause of the deadly crash.
While car accident compensation cannot be claimed for car crashes caused by icy weather conditions, if the lorry driver was deemed to have been driving recklessly or irresponsibly, a claim could be made against him for the couple's deaths.
