Traffic collision made against police

A car accident claim may be made after a collision between a police car and a Citroen C1 in Nottinghamshire.

A teenager had to be cut free after the vehicle in which he was a passenger was in a car crash with a police car responding to an emergency call.

The driver and other passengers of the Citroen also suffered minor injuries as did the two officers in the patrol car.

The accident happened at Robin Hood Way, Nottingham just after 10pm.

An investigation is underway by Nottinghamshire Police and the Independent Police Complaints Committee to determine the cause of the crash and any liability for the accident.

Following the findings of the investigation, a car accident claim may be made against the police.
