02/04/2009 Head injury claim to receive settlement
A recent hearing has resulted in the award of head injury compensation to a West Sussex woman who was involved in a car accident near Horsham.
The claimant suffered the head injury shortly after dropping her son off at his school. West Sussex County Council admitted partial liability for the car accident claim after it was found that the uneven roadside verge was a factor in the severity of the injuries received by the woman, as it caused her to overcorrect and eventually hit a tree.
It is hoped that the size of the crash claim payout can be negotiated in the coming weeks; if not, a further hearing will be scheduled.
