Man battles for compensation for German car crash

A motorcyclist is seeking road traffic accident compensation after suffering serious personal injuries in a crash on roads in Germany.

The man from Atherton, near Bolton had been in Germany during the summer of 2009 when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle. He had been travelling on his Honda motorcycle when a Swedish motorist crashed into him.

He suffered severe personal injuries in the accident, including a fractured vertebra and fractured wrist. He was also left with post-traumatic stress disorder, which has prevented him from riding a motorbike since the collision took place. Furthermore, he has been unable to return to work.

According to news reports he is now seeking up to £100,000 in road traffic accident compensation against the Swedish driver. The insurers have already admitted liability but the amount of damages is still to be agreed and it looks as if the case will now go to court.
