Three-vehicle accident causes bank holiday queues on M55
A three-vehicle car crash caused bank holiday hold-ups on the M55 near Lytham St Annes this weekend.
The road traffic accident occurred just before noon on Monday, and caused tail-backs of holiday traffic to build up while the aftermath of the smash was examined and cleared.
Fortunately, emergency services who attended the car accident were able to say that the personal injury suffered by those in the vehicles involved were minor, such as bruises and whiplash.
The road was cleared in reasonable time following the car crash, and no comment has been passed regarding liability or related compensation claims.
