Tributes have been ringing out across the boxing community to a former Cambridge coach who died in a motorbike accident last week.
It is believed that the motorbike accident occurred when the 43-year-old former coach was travelling on his Kawasaki bike with his 21-year-old girlfriend and collided with a BMW on the A141.
The 21-year-old woman's condition is described as serious by staff at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
A former colleague of the man, speaking in the wake of the motorbike accident, said, "He was a great ambassador to boxing and was well respected in the city. It is a great shock and a blow for boxing. He always gave 100%."
