Motorbike accident leads to divorce gossip

Last King of Scotland star James McAvoy was snapped by paparazzi photographers this week out and about without his wedding ring on.

Rumours flourished about a split from his wife of just three months but were soon quashed when the actor revealed the real reason for the absence of his wedding bling - a motorbike accident.

The 27-year-old broke lady's hearts all over the land with the revelation that his marriage wasn't on the rocks but that his ring was just in for a bit of a polishing following a tumble from his bike.

Exact details of the motorcycle accident are unknown but it is thought that the Scottish heartthrob was involved in a collision with a wall. Despite his battered ring, it is not believed that the Glasgow-born star suffered any other personal injuries in the smash.

Jake Jacobs from BP365, the motorbike accident compensation claim experts, commented on the case of McAvoy's missing wedding ring and said, "My missus will be devastated that he's not planning on getting a divorce; she couldn't stop swooning over him when we went to see his last film."
