Fatal motorbike injuries caused by fingernail painting

A woman driver in the US has sparked outrage after a rider suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident caused by the woman painting her fingernails while driving.

The 48-year-old struck the rider from behind, causing her to be catapulted from her motorbike. Despite wearing a helmet, the woman rider died within one hour of the motorcycle crash.

Police are still in the process of investigating the collision and have brought in motorcycle accident reconstruction specialists to assist them.

A spokesperson commented, "We are looking into charges in the case

"But we are waiting for results of blood and urine tests and waiting for the results of an accident reconstruction, as well as any other technical evidence we can derive from the scene."

It is not known whether the deceased woman's family will be launching a no win, no fee claim for the pain, trauma and loss caused to them by the motorcycle accident.
