An 82-year-old man has been killed in a West Midlands motorcycle accident on Sunday morning.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man, who was hit by a motorbike while crossing the road, suffered fatal personal injuries and was declared dead on arrival at a Dudley hospital.
Police have called for any witnesses to the motorcycle accident to step forward and assist them in establishing the causes of the collision.
The incident follows several motorcycle accident fatalities in the UK over the past few days, including the death of two brothers in Mansfield on Friday.
