A Birmingham man who sustained serious back and leg injuries in a 2006 motorbike accident has secured compensation after successful representation by his personal injury lawyer.
His lawyer said that the injury compensation settlement of £62,000 helped recognise the "the seriousness" of his injuries as well as the "significant life changes" he has had to make, including a change of careers.
The 38-year-old, who worked as an engineer before the motorbike accident, suffers from chronic pain and limited mobility as a result of the accident. Since being forced to take early retirement from his job with a telecommunications company he has retrained as a supply science teacher.
The motorbike accident claim related to a collision between the claimant's motorbike and an oncoming vehicle on the notorious Horseshoe Pass in North Wales.
