Tragic crash kills father

A tragic motorcycle accident has killed a father-of-two from Newburgh in Scotland.

The motorcycle accident occurred on the A565 on Southport New Road as the 40-year-old's Kawasaki was pulling out of a junction and was hit by a Peugeot 206.

It is believed that the man died soon after from fatal injuries sustained in the motorcycle accident.

Press reports indicate that the driver of the Peugeot did not sustain any personal injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the motorcycle accident to come forward.
