Compensation claim experts issue Thai bike warningBP365, the motorcycle accident compensation claim experts, have warned Brits heading out to Thailand during the summer to take extra care if renting bikes. Tens of thousands of UK tourists flood into Thailand every year to soak up the sun and experience the country's unique culture, and many decide to take a spin on a bike whilst they're there. With often no need for a licence and the possibility of renting powerful machines such as Harleys and Triumphs, some people take to the roads on bikes that they're unable to handle properly. The result of this is countless motorbike accidents, many of which prove to be fatal. Laura Jones, a compensation claim specialist from BP365, the motorcycle accident experts, warned travellers to be careful, saying, "We're constantly hearing about people who are renting bikes in Thailand and then coming off them and suffering serious personal injuries. "Our advice is to make sure that you're insured and always insist that you're given a helmet. Some of the roads, especially in places like Koh Samui, are really tight and windy and can be a death trap if you don't take care. "Make sure you remember your trip to Thailand for the right reasons." BP365's warning comes following news of the death of a 34-year-old English tourist who suffered fatal head injuries after being involved in a motorcycle accident near the popular resort of Phuket. Exact details are unknown but it is thought that the incident was the result of a collision with another bike. It is unknown if a no win, no fee personal injury compensation claim is likely to be made as a result of the Thai motorbike accident.
