If you're unfortunate enough to have been involved in a motorcycle accident, the chances are that your bike is going to have taken a bit of a battering. If it's damaged to the point of being unroadworthy, or even just needs a bit of a touch up, then we can help to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

Replacement bike
We'll do our best to provide you with a replacement bike or scooter of similar size and specification to your own, and you'll usually be able to keep it until yours has been repaired. If your own bike has been declared an insurance write-off, you'll be able to keep the replacement until you receive a cheque for the pre-accident value of your bike from the insurance company or from the person who caused the accident.

You don't have to worry about paying a penny for the replacement bike because all the costs will be passed onto the insurance company of the person that caused the motorcycle accident, meaning that all you need to concentrate on is getting back in the saddle and out onto the road again.

Repairs
If you have had a motorbike accident we can take the hassle out of the situation by using our extensive contacts to arrange for repairs to be made by an insurance company approved bodyshop. In most cases this will be your own bike dealer. The invoice for the repairs will then be paid by the insurance company of whoever was responsible for your accident.

When you first contact us we'll instruct an independent engineer to assess the damage to your bike. Provided it makes financial sense to repair it, the work can go ahead straightaway and your bike will be as good as new in no time at all.

However, if the engineer reckons your bike is beyond economical repair (an insurance write-off) they will put a pre-accident value on it. We'll then get in touch with the insurance company of the person who caused the accident and request a cheque for the full.

You can then go off and buy another motorcycle or scooter, so that you're kept off the road for the minimum amount of time possible.

Replacement clothing
It's all well and good having a bike that's ready to hit the road again, but it's not much good if the only thing preventing you from getting back out there is a damaged helmet or torn clothing.

Your helmet must be replaced if it received any impact in the accident. The damage can't always be seen and so there should be no doubt about getting a new one if you have been involved in a crash. The damage to your leathers is obviously a bit easier to spot, and instead of wearing torn leathers or venturing out without proper protection and risking some nasty road burn, they'll probably need to be replaced too.

We appreciate the need for proper safety gear whilst riding, so it may be possible to arrange to get a replacement helmet and a new set of leathers delivered directly to your door. You won't be charged for these but instead the insurance company of the individual who caused the motorbike accident will foot the bill.
