Motorcycling news - Bikers reveal lane hogging despairA recent survey has revealed that the biggest annoyance for bikers is car drivers who hog the outside lane. According to research conducted by Motorcycle News, 33% of riders hate motorists who refuse to budge out of the right hand lane, even when they're not overtaking. The habit seems to get the goat of motorcyclists everywhere and one extremely peeved rider told reporters, "Right lane cruisers should have their licences revoked. They are too stupid to be driving." The survey was conducted to raise awareness of August's National Motorway Month and revealed that other irritations include tailgaters, poor concentration from car drivers and people who use their mobile phone whilst behind the wheel. |
