International Motorcycle and Scooter Show set to be a crowd pleaser

This year's International Motorcycle and Scooter Show is being touted as the most exciting in the popular event's history.

Superbike legend Carl Fogarty is set make an appearance and former BSB champion Jamie Whitham will also be popping in to sign autographs and pass his knowledge onto visitors.

Taking place at the Birmingham NEC between 27th October and 5th November, the show will feature the Thunderdome Games Arena, an awesome live action stage featuring jaw-dropping stunts performed by some of the world's top stunt riders.

For those who prefer to take part rather than watch, there is the opportunity to visit Yamaha's Supermoto School and buff up on some racing skills. Additionally, the Harley-Davidson V-Rod Experience will give guests the chance to feel for themselves the tremendous power of the Milwaukee-based manufacturer's fuel-injected 60° V-Twin Revolution engine.

Other features include the BSB Awards and a whole host of manufacturers who will be attending the show to exhibit their latest designs and creations. The best in motorbike products and merchandise should also be available from the enormous number of retailers who will be plying their trade throughout the course of the event.

Promoting the show, Finlay McAllan from MCI Exhibitions said, "After the astounding popularity of last year's interactive features, we wanted to increase the entertainment value for visitors in 2006.

"This year we are offering even more for all ages and tastes including a fantastic selection of exhibitors and major manufacturers."
