Motorcycling news - Former 125cc World Champion passes awayIt is with great sadness that BP365, the motorcycle accident experts, report the death of former Swedish Grand Prix rider Kent Andersson. During an enigmatic racing career spanning nearly 20 years, he won an impressive 18 Grand Prix races and claimed the 125cc World Championship titles in 1973 and 1974, the first man ever to do so using Michelin tyres. 64-year-old Andersson died at his home in Sweden last week from a ruptured aorta and condolences have since been flooding in from all around the motorbiking world. |
