Motorcycle news - Hell's Angel finally weds sweetheart after 20 years

A Hell's Angel from Southampton has proved he's really a softie at heart after marrying his sweetheart of 20 years.

49-year-old Stephen Richards, a member of the south coast branch of the world famous motorcycling club, tied the not with Sally Bowers at the city's register office, dressed in the Angels' death's head colours and watched by the couple's five children.

Also attending the ceremony were numerous family and friends as well as several members of the Hell's Angels who donned their colours and cruised to the wedding on their Harley-Davidson V-twins.

Biker Stephen revealed he only got down on one knee as the result of constant nagging by his army of kids but the look on his face after the ceremony gave away how delighted he was that he had finally bowed to the pressure.

How long that smile will remain, however, remains to be discovered as the new husband is going to have to do without his Harley Superglide for a couple of weeks.

"We're going to the Costa Blanca in Spain for our honeymoon." Sally said.

"But we will not be going on the motorcycle as I can't get my suitcase or my shoebag on it."
