Personal injury news
Police in Norfolk are investigating whether a vehicle driven in the wrong direction on the A47 on 5th September was the cause of a car accident involving three vehicles. A 72-year-old women who had to be cut free from a Ford Fiesta was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital after sustaining a leg injury in the crash. Three other motorists were all reported to be suffering from whiplash injuries. Peter Abbs led fire crews at the scene of the accident and spent 80 minutes cutting a total of five causalities out of the cars involved in the collision. He said, "It was a nasty one. That's a particularly busy stretch of road, but we had a good team, unfortunately the Dereham crews who are used to dealing with these sort of accidents." In the future, the casualties of the collision may want to make a whiplash compensation claim for their injuries sustained in the road accident.
