Personal injury newsMy Chemical Romance clear up car crash reportsMy Chemical Romance has left a message on their website for fans, clearing up any false reports of them having a car crash. Online news reports claimed the band had cancelled an appearance at Street Scene in San Diego because of a car accident, sending drummer Bob Bryar to hospital with third degree burns. According to their website, the band were shooting a video when two of them suffered serious personal injuries. Gerard tore multiple ligaments in his ankle and Bob received a bad leg injury. The incident happened last Thursday and the band drove the next day to San Diego to prepare for their performance. Unfortunately, during rehearsals they realised they were in too much pain to continue and had to cancel their appearance. They said on their website, "We hate cancelling shows, especially now that we are done recording and just want to play." So for fans, there you have it, there was no car crash, just a few serious personal injures sustained on a video shoot for their new record.
